In-House Digital Marketing

Since 2022, I’ve worked in-house as a Digital Marketing Executive at Lakeland Leisure Estates, supporting multiple brands, locations, and audiences across the UK.

My role spans content creation, social media management, email marketing, and campaign support - maintaining a consistent and engaging online presence across a diverse portfolio.

The Role

Working across multiple sites and brands, I manage and deliver day-to-day marketing activity while also supporting longer-term content planning and campaigns.

This includes maintaining consistency across platforms, adapting content to different audiences, and ensuring each brand feels distinct while still aligned within the wider business.

Scope of Work

  • Managing 20+ social media accounts across multiple brands and locations - planning, creating, and scheduling content to maintain a consistent and engaging presence.

  • Creating a wide range of content including photography, video, and graphics, tailored to each brand’s audience and platform.

  • Writing blog posts designed to support organic traffic, improve SEO, and provide useful, relevant content for customers.

  • Designing and writing email campaigns to communicate updates, promote offers, and stay connected with audiences.

  • Supporting wider marketing campaigns with content, messaging, and rollout across digital channels.

Approach

Working in-house has allowed for a more integrated and long-term approach to marketing.

Rather than one-off content, the focus has been on building consistency over time - refining tone of voice, improving visual quality, and creating content that feels both engaging and aligned with each brand.

Balancing multiple brands has also required adaptability, organisation, and a strong understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences.

Outcome

Through ongoing, consistent work across platforms, the brands have maintained an active and engaging digital presence.

Content has evolved to become more cohesive, visually considered, and aligned with audience expectations - supporting overall brand visibility and communication.
